Painting with Maru
09.11.22 I have been following Maru Godas for a few years. Her work is so alive and free and so much of what I dream to be! So when she dm’d me to let me know she was going to be in NYC and would I like to paint with her, I think my mouth hit the floor! I felt completely starstruck! I was so nervous and excited! It is rare for me to paint in the real world even though in theory i have been urban sketching most of my life! I still get nervous! Painting with Maru is my reminder that 1) I need a bigger sketchbook! 2) It is absolutely ok to just let go and have fun!! Thank you Maru for such a special day!!
